Let's Get this Party Started

Hello English 9 and 12 Students,
I am delighted to be your teacher for the indefinite future.

Before we get started, I need each of you to do a few things.
1.  If you do not already have a gmail account, go to google and create one.
2. Email me using your gmail account:  overcashster@gmail.com

You will be submitting most of your work for class through email.  You will also be using Google Docs as much as possible.  It is important that I have your addresses and you have mine.

I would like to get to know you, so in your first email to me, please tell me about yourself, including, but not limited to:

• The name you prefer to be called and which class, day and period you are in
• A brief synopsis of what you learned in English class first semester
• What you hope to learn in English class this semester
• What makes you happy 
• What makes you crazy annoyed
• Something interesting about you that will help me understand and get to know you
